➤ The Silver Cross Board of Trustees appointed Megan Bowman and John Clavio to the Silver Cross Foundation board, part of Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. Bowman works in banking and Clavio practices real estate. Herald-News

EDUCATION NEWS

➤ The Plainfield School Board narrowly approved a plan on Dec. 17 to change high school boundaries in District 202 to ease overcrowding at Plainfield North. Students in selected subdivisions will start attending different high schools in the 2026-27 school year. Herald-News
