Plainfield Village Board gave unanimous approval on Monday for Angry Chickz’s special use permit to open a drive-thru at 15732 South Illinois Route 59; the new Nashville-style hot chicken spot will be Angry Chickz’s second Illinois location in the building that once housed La Langosta Bar & Grill.
Illinois State Board of Education announced new income guidelines for childcare meals, setting free + reduced-price eligibility under the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
The rules, effective from July 1 until June 30 and released on Oct. 16, prompt families to check with their childcare providers for program participation.
