- ➤ S&T Too Pizza hosts a grand opening today, Saturday, and Sunday at its new Shorewood location at 1017 Brook Forest Ave. The family-owned chain will give 300 pizza scratch-off tickets to the first 300 customers with one ticket awarding free pizza. Herald-News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Plainfield District 202 high schools are set to host holiday collage concerts in December. Performances will occur on Dec. 6 at Plainfield North and East (free admission), on Dec. 12 at South with a $5 fee, and on Dec. 13 at Central in school auditoriums. Herald-News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ ComEd has launched a new Low-Income Discount program that will lower energy bills starting Jan. 1 for qualifying households (those earning up to 300% of the federal poverty level receive scaled discounts). Residents can sign up online or through community action agencies. Shaw Local
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ A four-bedroom, 3,098 sqft home on Timber Wood Circle sold for $700,000 on Nov. 14. The two-story house features a fireplace, gas heating, and central A/C and is one of several recent local real estate transactions. Herald-News
