EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Oswego District 308 is planning to adjust school boundaries at Grande Park and Southbury elementary schools to address rising enrollment and capacity limits — the board will vote on the plan on Jan. 26 with changes set for fall 2026. Community engagement sessions will be held on Nov. 18 and 19 at Oswego High School — further adjustments are planned for fall 2027. Herald-News

- ➤ Saint Bede hosted its Community Blood Drive on Tuesday, Nov. 4 in the Perino Science Center at St. Bede Academy—the event aimed to collect 100 pints this school year to trigger a $1,000 Red Cross scholarship for a graduating senior. Shaw Local

9:00-10:30 a.m. — Community Park At Grande Park — Entry fee required — Participate in the fun-filled 4th Annual Turkey Trot run/walk to kick off the holiday season.

8 AM — Naperville Central High School — Registration required — Run fast and enjoy a festive Turkey Trot experience.

Holiday Create & Sip at Garage Band Brewing
6-8:30 p.m. — Garage Band Brewing — $20 balance due at the event — Kick off the holiday season with crafting and delicious drinks in a cozy atmosphere.
