Here's your local news at a glance for Wednesday, the 15th of October.
Good morning, Plainfield.
🏛️ Government
The Will County WIC program is operating normally today, but a prolonged government shutdown may cause its funding to run out this month, putting food assistance at risk for 8,500 residents.
Officials urge current participants to check the county website or the Illinois WIC app for updates — important guidance as the shutdown continues.
