ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A 63-year-old man from Crest Hill was critically injured after being hit by a Nissan Versa while crossing the 2400 block of Plainfield Road Tuesday at 8:50 p.m.—the 59-year-old driver from California stayed at the scene and cooperated with police who are investigating the crash. Herald-News
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Will County deputies responded to a shooting in the 2300 block of East Exchange Street in Crete Township on Tuesday at about 9:15 p.m.—officers found a sedan with shattered windows and nearly 40 shell casings while administering lifesaving aid after a male passenger died and a female driver remained in critical condition with gunshot wounds to her head and hand, and the investigation remains active.
