  • Federal agents assisted Joliet police in apprehending a man wanted for a Chicago case near the 1900 block of Hampton Court and Larkspur Drive shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday, which led several schools (Troy Middle School, William B. Orenic Intermediate School, Wesmere Elementary School, and The Goddard School) to be placed on secure-and-teach protocol for about 15 to 20 minutes.  Herald-News
