  • Thirteen state driver license locations in suburban Chicago will offer walk-in Saturday service starting Aug. 9 to ease weekday congestion and help residents finish end-of-summer tasks, according to the Secretary of State. The temporary expansion will run until Sept. 6 and will allow residents to complete services such as renewing a driver’s license — getting a REAL ID — and registering a vehicle without an appointment.  Herald-News
