- ➤ The Forest Preserve District of Will County announced a week of events starting July 28 that include a trivia night at Mistwood Golf Club on July 30 from 5 to 8 p.m., an insect event at Isle a la Cache on July 31, and a fishing workshop at Monee Reservoir on Aug. 1. Other events feature teen and adult kayaking on Aug. 1, a beekeeper talk at Plum Creek Nature Center on Aug. 2, and an adults-only overnight campout at Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve starting Aug. 2—registration is available online.
