On Tuesday, a federal appeals court ruled that Will County Sheriff’s Deputy Jim Reilly can file an amended lawsuit claiming he was denied a promotion because he ran against Sheriff Mike Kelley.
The decision stated his claim is plausible — though Kelley may still argue that Reilly missed the filing deadline.
🏥 Health
The American Red Cross is urging donors to give blood and platelets to keep the supply strong this summer—type O blood is most needed—with several drives planned in counties such as Grundy, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will.
Donors giving by July 14 will receive a pair of Red Cross x goodr sunglasses while those donating later will get a movie reward—appointments can be booked by phone or online.
