- ➤ The Forest Preserve District of Will County has scheduled a variety of free programs for nature lovers starting the week of July 7—ranging from a walking book club and nature journaling to guided bird hikes and migratory bird viewing at Lake Renwick through Aug. 9. Registration deadlines vary and some events require a nominal fee while others are open to all ages. Herald-News
