The Forest Preserve District of Will County has planned July contests that offer fishing, kayaking and sidewalk art challenges at Hidden Lakes in Bolingbrook, Monee Reservoir in Monee and Hidden Oaks Nature Center.
Registration for the kayaking games is due by June 29 (participants need to know how to paddle) and a trash pickup cleanup runs daily from July 5 to 11.
