The Plainfield American Legion Marne Post 13 held its Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 26—starting at Ira Jones Middle School and finishing at Settlers' Park for a ceremony.

Lockport Township will host its eighth annual Senior Expo on June 4 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Township Government Office—over 40 local organizations will offer seniors services including a mobile OSCO Pharmacy providing immunizations, a shred truck, raffle prizes, ice cream, and a special prize for the first 400 visitors.
