- ➤ Will County’s Imagination Library received a $25,000 donation from an Elwood-based clean energy company to support its free book-gifting program for local children—county officials said the funding is a key step toward reaching a $150,000 goal to expand early literacy programs. - ➤ The Forest Preserve District of Will County is hosting a free bird viewing program at Lake Renwick Heron Rookery Nature Preserve in Plainfield today from 8 a.m. to noon.
