- ➤ Plainfield police charged two 14-year-old boys with arson after a March 24 fire damaged the old Larry’s Diner building at 24522 W. Lockport St. — cell phone evidence later linked them to a property damage incident near Lockport Street and Wood Farm Road. Shaw Local
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Forest Preserve District of Will County announced several outdoor programs for this week, including an Adult Fishing Derby at Hidden Lakes Trout Farm - Bolingbrook on Saturday, May 17. The derby costs $5 per person, requires online registration, and provides one container of nightcrawlers for anglers who bring their own gear. Herald-News
