- ➤ Plainfield plan commissioners are reviewing proposals at 7 p.m. today for Dutch Bros. Coffee to open a 1,000 sqft drive-up cafe on a vacant one-acre site south of Route 30 & west of Spangler Road. The design includes two lanes for ordering to manage vehicle flow. Herald-News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Illinois Department of Transportation announced full lane closures on I-55 at I-80 tonight to install steel beams on the I-80 bridge — detours will be in place until lanes reopen by 6 a.m. Wednesday, with similar closures planned Wednesday night and normal traffic resuming by 6 a.m. Thursday.
