  • Plainfield South baseball lost 6 to 2 to Joliet West while Plainfield North and Plainfield East won 11 to 1 and 8 to 5 against Oswego East and Joliet Central. In girls soccer, Plainfield Central won 1 to 0 against Yorkville and Plainfield North beat Romeoville 4 to 0.  Herald-News
  • Romeoville baseball beat Plainfield Central 11-7 on Tuesday as the team rallied after a rough inning to protect their lead. The Spartans, now 12-9, showed grit with key plays from veterans like Richard Conley and Ryan Uscila as they work to end a 20-year run without a winning season.  Herald-News
