The Plainfield Police Department is hosting a DEA take-back event on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Plainfield Police Law Enforcement Center (14300 S.
Coil Plus Drive) where patients and their families may dispose of unwanted medications including controlled, noncontrolled, and over-the-counter types, though pharmacies, hospitals, and physicians cannot use the service and needles or illegal drugs will not be accepted.
