- ➤ Plainfield Park District received $250,000 from federal funds presented by Rep. Underwood on Tuesday, Apr. 7 to create a new four‐mile link along the DuPage River Trail connecting Riverside Parkway, Sunset Park and Hammel Woods — the project will break ground next year with construction taking six to eight months.
