Here's your local news at a glance for Monday, the 6th of April.
Good morning, Plainfield.
🏘️ Community
Plainfield residents can dispose of bulk furniture and appliances during spring cleanup week organized by the village and Waste Management.
Items must be curbside by 6 a.m. on their regular pickup day and follow proper packaging (mattresses wrapped, carpets rolled); yard waste collection resumes as scheduled.
🏛️ Government
The Illinois Commerce Commission reminds homeowners and professional diggers to call 811 two working days before starting spring projects, as state law requires utility lines be marked — a step that can help prevent outages and fines.
