- ➤ Plainfield residents will enjoy a Friday Fish Fry at St. Mary Immaculate Parish from Feb. 20 through March 27, with cod and shrimp dinners and side options in a carryout format (orders start at 4:30 p.m.). Herald-News

- ➤ Plainfield East High School’s Art Department will host a four-day summer art studio from June 22-25. Campers aged 4 to 13 attend morning sessions (9-11 a.m.) or afternoon sessions (1-3 p.m.) for $100, and funds support student scholarships and art projects. Herald-News
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Will County Health Department and the New Lenox Safe Community Coalition will offer free virtual Narcan training from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 to help residents learn how to reverse opioid overdoses (registration is required), and participants who complete the training will receive a free Narcan Nasal Spray Kit.
