➤ Will County will celebrate Dolly Parton’s 80th birthday on Jan. 22 at Hollywood Casino Joliet to support the local Imagination Library that provided over 20,000 books to 5,500 children. The party will feature Singo Bingo, prizes, and a cake (tickets cost $20 and doors open at 6 p.m.). Herald-News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ CITGO Lemont Refinery announced that first responder agencies in Lockport, Romeoville, Lemont and Will County will receive $80,000 in grants to fund safety improvements, specialized training and equipment upgrades. The funds are provided under the Community Awareness Emergency Response Program. Herald-News
